I'm sure everyone in Loch Lao will join me in offering our sincere condolences to the Mulhern family at this sad time . Joe's father has passed away peacefully after a long illness . the funeral mass will be on Friday in St Joseph's Glenavy 9.30 am . Gerry

Happy New Year, Athbhliain faoi mhaise, to all Loch Lao members. Let's hope that 2008 is a good one for us all! The thought of a new year reminds us of the forthcoming Fleadh season. My last stopping off point on the Loch Lao Far Eastern exploratory tour is South Korea. This place is a lot more hectic than Japan. Not sure though if it has enough Seoul to appreciate a good Loch Lao concert. Maybe we'll give it a miss.

Konnichiwa from Japan. I am currently in Tokyo, was in Osaka yesterday and will travel to Hiroshima tomorrow. All in aid of Loch Lao of course, checking out possible venues for a future tour. So far some atmospheric spots found, all a bit cramped though. We will have to drop the dancers for the japanese leg. Arigato.

Greetings from Hong Kong or as the locals would say Dia dhaoibh as an tSín. I'm busy checking out locations in the Far East for future Loch Lao events. Hong Kong has a lot of potential! I heard there was an excellent end of year party and presentation evening in St Gall's on Friday night, it's all the news over here. Slán go fóill.
